Braindead™ Regular B Typeart Foundry Inc Although you can create interesting grunge effects at smaller point sizes, these fonts were intended to be used at larger point sizes (greater than 48 point) for the real flavour of the characters to be fully appreciated. These are quite detailed fonts, and therefore look effective in Billboard sizes. When using this typeface at larger point sizes, you are likely to type words which use two or more of the same vowel characters. You might find that your design will look more dynamic if you use alternate versions of the duplicate letters. Because most of the accent characters in this family are slightly different from their unaccented root characters, you can use them whenever you require alternate vowels. After typing the accent character, in your page layout or illustration program, you can then draw a white box and place it on top of the unwanted accent. If you don''t have much printer memory and you try using all 6 of the Braindead and Braindeader fonts at once, you may encounter a postscript error and be unable to print your document. As the characters in these fonts use many more points than the number you would find in non-textured fonts, your printer could run out of memory if you try to print them all. Printing four of them at once will work fine on most basic printer configurations, but you may require more printer memory if you wish to use more than this, or if you wish to print Braindead along with other heavily textured fonts. If you do exceed the limit and encounter printing problems, your RAM-equipped service bureau should still be able to output your pages without any problems.Braindeader is largely a staggered and mixed version of both Braindead Regular and Braindeaª Bold, but also has several unique characters which cannot be found in either of the Braindead fonts.. In the PC version of this font family the style names are slightly different from those used in the Mac versions. But the fonts are otherwise identical. Review this product |
